Asbestos Management in Buildings training course provides awareness and knowledge of asbestos removal procedures from buildings.

To provide practical knowledge and skills in order to be able to manage asbestos in buildings, and provide a basic knowledge of asbestos removal procedures.

If delivered in-company, space will be required for a decontamination unit and erection of a basic enclosure.
Who Should Attend?
Those responsible for managing asbestos in a building or estate including staff within H&S and property departments, or site and project managers.
Delegates for this course are expected to be aware of the contents of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and other relevant documents.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course delegates will receive a BOHS P405 Asbestos Management in Buildings certificate

This is a 4-day course.
If you have no intention of removing asbestos but work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You will need awareness training so you know how to avoid the risks.
