Surveying & Risk Assessment training course provides the knowledge and skills required to manage asbestos safely.
The Objectives
Course Aims
To provide practical skills required to manage asbestos in buildings and a basic knowledge of asbestos removal procedures.

- The maximum number of delegates is 8.
If delivered in-company, space will be required for a decontamination unit and erection of a basic enclosure.
Who Should Attend?
Those responsible for managing asbestos in a building or estate including staff within H&S and property departments, or site and project managers.
Delegates for this course are expected to be aware of the contents of The Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and other relevant documents.

Certification
Upon successful completion of the course delegates will receive a BOHS P402 Surveying and Risk Assessment certificate.

If you have no intention of removing asbestos but work on buildings built or refurbished before the year 2000, asbestos could be present. You will need awareness training so you know how to avoid the risks.
